Privacy policy

Your privacy is important, and so we've taken a number of steps to ensure it when using Wellfair.

In the normal operation of Wellfair, no data is permanently stored or sent from the device. We know that salary information is sensitive, and so for that reason, that information never leaves the device. Once you enter your salary, that information cannot be retrieved from the device either. If you made a mistake, you cannot edit your salary, instead you have to delete your entry and re-enter it. We're sorry if that's a bit annoying, but it's important for privacy reasons.

Once the calculations are done, if a user knows the total bill, knows everyone's share and knows one person's salary then it is possible to recalculate every other person's salary. For this reason we do not display everyone's share on the page at the same time. Of course, if you would like to share salary's then that is up to you.

Once you have finished paying the bill, all salary information is permanently wiped from the iPhone. There is no record of salary information, name or bill stored on the device or sent to the internet.
